2011 Christmas Dinner Train

Some 19 MCCC couples boarded the Mt Hood Railroad Dinner Train , Saturday, December 17, enjoying a fine Christmas dinner of roast turkey with all the trimmings, the fellowship of fellow members and the scenic ride along Hood River and through the orchards of Hood River Valley. Other than developing some cold feet, everyone had a great time.

Last Official 2011 Burgerville Cruise-In

Burgerville Manager Nick Hardin, showing his appreciation for the continued patronage of Mid Columbia Car Club members provided a cake and had a drawing for Burgerville gift cards at the Club's last official 2011 cruise-in. From the accompanying photos it is quite evident that everyone was having a great time. Although this was the last "offical' cruise-in for the season, members will continue to frequent Burgerville on Wednesday evenings throughout the "off" season.

Club members celebrated the birthday and upcoming retirement of member Bill Oostenburg at Wednesday evening's Burgerville Cruise-In. Everyone enjoyed a delicious cake made by club member Mike Walch, owner and operator of Mike's Bakitchen.

Several MCCC members attended the Concours de Maryhill show Oct 1, 2011. It was a windy and much cooler day which proved that autumn had officially arrived. Trophy winners from MCCC were: Steve Dugan Bud Jones, Bob Peickert and Mark Fortin (no photo as he left before award presentations).

Camp Baldwin Gathering

Camp Baldwin Managers Helen and Larry Clark invited the Club members to Camp Baldwin for a picnic/pot-luck. Larry and Helen provided ham, beef, scalloped potatoes and beverages and Club members came in-tow with salads and desserts. There were lots of really yummy foods and the event was well-attended and very enjoyable. Thanks to Larry and Helen for hosting the event.
