Model Car Show

Attention Modelers!!!

Next year, the Mid-Columbia Car Club in The Dalles will feature a scale model show in the “Show in the Shade” car show as part of its annual “Cruise the Gorge”.  Entry will be limited to automotive subjects so, if you have some special car, truck, or motorcycle models you’d like to show off, bring them to the show on Saturday, August 8th, 2009 at Sorosis Park in  The Dalles.  There’s no registration fee and we hope to get a sponsor so we can offer a People’s Choice trophy for Best Model of the show.  The big car shows like the Portland Roadster Show always feature a table or two with some pretty fine looking models.  Let’s show them that Gorge modelers can turn out some pretty nice models as well.  Who knows, maybe you’ll get some modeling ideas from all of the full size cars and trucks you’ll see at the show.
